In the summer of 2022, we followed the same route by train, recording music and ambient sounds at the original filming locations. You can explore these musical postcards in any order.

Il Canzoniere di Pasolini
Pier Paolo Pasolini considered the Italian dialects to be the ultimate survival of something pure and uncontaminated that for him was to be protected. The lack of translation and the onomatopoeic values of some dialect words connect them to a deeper “truth”, making a strong bond between the word itself and the sound and feeling that the word evokes.
